The "Nuvite Look" is a process and procedural mix of polish, patience, practice and performance.  Depending on the condition of the metal substrate mirror resolution can be achieved and maintained with a degee of effort paralleled to the end result desired.  Reflection of image comes quickly but resolution of image is the ultimate Nuvite goal.

Some aircraft Skins utilize different alloys such as 6000 series that is often not cladded due to natural corrosion resisitance.  The thin layer of 95%+ pure aluminum is not used as a protective covering, instead the temper and strength of the skin is used against the onset of corrosion.  For this reason 6000 series aircraft skins are often highly polished to aid in corrosion resistance along for lasting visual preference.
