Nuvite Chemical Compounds was originally founded in 1949 as a private manufacturer of chemical specialty products conforming to OEM and customer specifications & standards for professional users in the aviation, marine, industrial, and janitorial industries. During the 1950's and 1960's, the demand for Nuvite Products grew to include products for the automotive and heavy truck/trailer transport industries.

During the energy crisis of the 1970's, Nuvite recognized the need to offer high performance, task specific and cost effective concentrates designed to provide value and economies for the client. Although Nuvite developed and offered additional product lines such as institutional specialties, it was at this time that Nuvite made a conscious decision to cease low cost, commodity, and everybody type products and offer quality products conforming to the ever changing technological needs and demands of the client.

During the 1980’s Nuvite understood the importance of producing "clean & green" environmentally safe products to conform to the demands of all domestic and international regulatory authorities and as such, we continue to conform to all current and applicable regulations.

During the 1990's, Nuvite recognized the importance to increase communication via electronic technology and the importance of global relationships with our international clients and thus, we developed a network of global associates to include international regional distributors along with domestic dealers and representatives; however, we continue to believe that the old style of direct communication via person to person contact is imperative and is of the utmost importance even in the electronic world of the twenty-first century.
